Lufthansa and Air India suspend flights to Tel Aviv until May 6

German airline Lufthansa has announced that it is suspending flights to and from Tel Aviv until May 6 following a rocket attack on Israel's main international airport.

The group, whose carriers include Eurowings, Swiss, Austrian, and Brussels Airlines, said it was suspending services due to the "current situation."
Air India announced it would do the same, AFP reported.
"Our flights to and from Tel Aviv will remain suspended with immediate effect until May 6, 2025, to ensure the safety of our customers and staff," the airline said in a statement.
Earlier today, a rocket fired from Yemen crashed near Israel's main international airport, authorities said. The attack briefly disrupted air traffic and prompted threats of retaliation.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the rocket attack, which follows a series of attacks by Yemeni Houthi rebels.
