Dua Lipa is "happier than ever" since getting engaged to Callum Turner and admits she is falling more and more in love with him.
The singer began dating the Masters of the Air actor in January 2024. Dua announced their engagement in July 2025.
The 29-year-old star gave an interview to Harper's BAZAAR magazine's global edition, ICONS, sharing her happiness with 35-year-old Callum after years of keeping her emotions secret.
"I love love. It's a beautiful thing. It's really inspiring. You realize that you're falling in love so deeply in the best possible way. That vulnerability is so scary, but I feel lucky to be able to experience it. I spent a lot of time guarding and protecting my heart, so now I'm letting go of that feeling and just saying to myself, 'Okay, if I'm going to get hurt, then so be it. I just have to let love into my life," the singer said.
Dua, who was photographed by Anthony Seklawa for Harper's BAZAAR, was asked how she feels about being so open about her relationship, to which she replied: "I'm happier than ever, so I feel like I'm doing a disservice by not talking about it. When you're a public figure, anything that's very personal is very vulnerable. It's not that I don't want to share it."
In another interview with Harper's BAZAAR, Lipa talked about how she believes that what she writes about in her songs comes true, which is why she tries to spread positive energy in her music.
"I firmly believe that everything I write comes true. That's why I'm always very, very careful with the things I write. I'm not trying to bring some crazy energy into the world. I'm just trying to be light-hearted, have fun, and share my experiences," she said.
Describing how she feels when she sings live, Dua added: "There's a moment when I go out into the audience and that part of me is not the same as when I'm just singing, performing, and dancing. When I sing the songs, I feel really powerful. The rooms become bigger. I want to make big spaces look small." | BGNES
