Casper van Uden won his maiden Grand Tour win. He triumphed in the 189-kilometer section between Alberobello and Lecce. He left his compatriots Olav Kooij and Maikel Zijlaard on the podium. For the 34th time, a Dutchman has won a stage of the Giro.
The leader in the general classification, Mads Pedersen, remained fourth today. The Dane continues in pink, ahead of the 2023 winner Primož Roglic and Mathias Vacek.
