Oklahoma City won the crucial fifth game of the NBA Finals. With 40 points from Jalen Williams and 31 from their star player Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, the Western Conference team won 120-109 against Indiana and now leads the series 3-2.

The Thunder took the initiative from the very start of the game and led by 10 points after the first quarter, allowing their opponents to cut the lead in half at one point in the third quarter, but not to completely erase it.

In the end, the hosts held on for the win and took another big step toward the title.

Aaron Wiggins added 14 points for the home team.

Pascal Siakam was Indiana's top scorer with 28 points, Timothy John McConnell finished with 18, and Aaron Nesmith added 14.
