On May 15, 2025, Bulgargaz EAD announced a preliminary selection procedure for companies that can participate in future tenders for natural gas supply in the period June 2025 - June 2026. As a result of the procedure and taking into account the inclusion of natural gas producers and traders who have gone through the selection process during previous tenders for LNG supply, the company has drawn up a list of 34 approved suppliers, including leading international producers and traders of liquefied natural gas, the company's press center announced.

On June 2, 2025, Bulgargaz EAD sent an invitation to submit bids to the approved suppliers, together with the tender documentation for participation in a procedure for the supply of liquefied natural gas for June this year.

By the deadline for submission of tenders, 06.06.2025, tenders were received from four companies.

The tenders received were evaluated in accordance with the evaluation methodology, and RWE Supply & Trading was selected as the supplier of liquefied natural gas for June. IБГНЕС
