Actress Jennifer Aniston wants to star in a Broadway play.
The 56-year-old star has been one of the most famous faces in Hollywood for decades. She has revealed that her next career goal is to tread the boards on the Great White Way, but before she commits to that, she needs to find “the right role”.
"I definitely want to be in a Broadway play, it's on my bucket list, but it's about finding the time and finding the right play, the right material. But I absolutely have to do a Broadway play," she told PEOPLE.
The “Marley and Me” actress rose to fame in the late '90s with her role as Rachel Green in “Friends,” and if she makes it to Broadway, she'll become the second cast member after David Schwimmer to star in the 2006 play “The Caine Mutiny Court-Martial.”
Other stars who have starred on Broadway in recent times include George Clooney, who was recently nominated for a Tony for his role in Good Night, and Good Luck, while Heirs star Sarah Snook was named Best Actress for Portrait of Dorian Gray.
Meanwhile, Jennifer, who starred in various off-Broadway productions before becoming world famous, recently admitted that she has only learned to “love” her body in recent years.
"We have to love our bodies. It does the best it is capable of. It's been with us since day one, so we can't be too hard on it. Sure, we're all going to get old, but how can we thrive as we age? And that is to give our body the attention it deserves. Personally, I enjoyed my 30s, but my 20s were nothing. I was a nightmare. I didn't figure out how to work out until my 30s and 40s," she told Allure. | BGNES
