Justin Bieber is mourning the loss of his grandfather, according to the website Music-news.

Bruce Dale, 80, from Stratford, passed away peacefully at Rotary Hospice Stratford Perth on April 24, 2025.

Bieber confirmed the loss in a lengthy Instagram post, in which the singer shared a photo from his teenage years with his late grandfather.

The singer wrote: "Grandpa, I always took all your money, haha. I remember you telling me your grandmother gave you $20 pocket money for the whole week! I always convinced you to spend it on snacks at the hockey game on Friday night. Reluctantly, you always gave it to me. Corn nuts, Skittles, gum, Chuck a Puck, Slash Pups. I can't wait to see you again in heaven. Until then, I know you're watching us from above and probably still whistling at Beaty or Fagon for that missed foul ball in the corner. I'll miss you. It'll hurt. And I'll sit and remember all the wonderful moments we shared.
