Katy Perry granted restraining order against unwanted visitor

She sought protection from the court after the man showed up at her Santa Barbara property uninvited several times in May.

Katy Perry has been granted a permanent restraining order against a man who allegedly continues to show up at her home in California.

The singer filed for a restraining order against 43-year-old Ross Elliot Hedrick in mid-June, and on July 14, a judge granted her request, TMZ reported.

Perry sought protection from the court after the man showed up at her Santa Barbara property uninvited several times in May. Hadrick, who is said to be homeless, was arrested after his first unwanted visit but was not deterred and returned a week later.

In the original legal documents, the singer's security company claims that Hedrick appeared to have a spray can and a lighter during his first uninvited appearance, and that on his second visit, he threw a blanket over the security gate.

They provided screenshots from Katy's doorbell camera, one of which shows Hedrick on the property.

Company representatives insist that her concerns about Hedrick are valid and that there is a significant chance he will continue to appear on the property.

When Perry first filed for a restraining order on June 18, she asked the court to order Hedrick to stay at least 91 meters away from her, her "partner" Orlando Bloom, and her homes.

Since then, the "California Gurls" singer and the "Pirates of the Caribbean" actor have split up.

The stars, who have a four-year-old daughter, Daisy, confirmed their separation in a statement earlier this month.

"Due to the high level of interest and recent conversations surrounding the relationship between Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry, representatives have confirmed that Orlando and Katy have changed their relationship over the past several months to focus on their co-parenting," the statement read.

The star couple began dating in 2016 and got engaged in 2019. | BGNES
