On his second concert at Anfield as part of his European tour, Bruce Springsteen surprised the audience by inviting Paul McCartney on stage. He took to the stage with a bass guitar and performed a version of “Can't Buy Me Love” from A Hard Day's Night.
In addition to some Beatles favorites, McCartney also led the E Street Band through Little Richard's classic “Kansas City.”
Although there was no official announcement of McCartney's participation in the show, there were signs earlier in the week that the former Beatle might be invited.
Springsteen's European tour will continue in Berlin at the Olympiastadion on June 11. | BGNES
