The Bulgarian Parliament rejected the vote of no confidence in the cabinet of Rosen Zhelyazkov. This was the fourth vote. "83 deputies voted for it, 131 were against it, there were no abstentions, BGNES reported.
By groups the vote went like this. From GERB-SDS 64 were against, DPS-Novo Nachalo (New Beginning) - 29 against, Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) - 19 against, ITN - 15 against. From PP-DB voted 17 in favour, from Vuzrajdane (Revival) were 32 in favour, The Alliance for Rights and Freedoms also voted in favour, as well as MECH and Velichie (Greatness). The four non-member groups voted against.
Before the vote, Bozhidar Bojanov (Member of the PP-DB) asked to speak, but was denied the floor by the Chair, Natalia Kiselova, who stopped the microphone.
The fourth vote of no-confidence in the Zhelyazkov cabinet is themed on the failure of the government's environmental policy, and was sponsored by 48 MPs from Velichie, Vuzrajdane and MECH.
