US President Donald Trump has filed a lawsuit against Dow Jones, News Corp, two Wall Street Journal reporters and the newspaper's owner Rupert Murdoch, accusing them of defamation and libel.

The lawsuit was filed a day after Trump threatened to sue the outlet over a publication alleging he wrote a lewd birthday letter to Jeffrey Epstein.
