He declared that "the American dream is unstoppable and stressed that he is "just getting started" with his plans to change the country. His close adviser, Elon Musk, was among those in the room.
The president hailed the accomplishments of his first six weeks in office and pledged to continue his efforts to polarize the American government and end the war in Ukraine.
"We've accomplished more in 43 days than most administrations accomplish in four or eight years - and we're just getting started," Trump said to Republican chants of "USA, USA!" as Democrats booed him.
"The American dream is on the rise - bigger and better than ever. The American dream is unstoppable, and our country is on the cusp of a comeback like the world has never witnessed and may never witness again," he continued.
Trump also laid out his vision for the economy and illegal immigration amid the trade war he has launched against Canada, China and Mexico.
