Zelensky: Russia and Ukraine are working on a new prisoner exchange

Russia and Ukraine are working on a new prisoner exchange.

This was announced by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky after negotiations between delegations from the two countries in Istanbul ended, AFP reported.

“The delegations exchanged documents through the Turkish side and we are preparing a new release of prisoners of war,” Zelensky said during the summit meeting involving NATO leaders in Lithuania.

The Ukrainian president also said that Vladimir Putin should not be rewarded for his invasion.

“The key to lasting peace is clear: the aggressor must not receive any reward for the war. Putin must not receive anything that would justify his aggression,” Zelensky said. | BGNES
