Cleveland records most dominant win in NBA playoff history

Brutal night for Miami

The Cleveland Cavaliers delivered a historic performance, crushing the Miami Heat 138–83 to complete a commanding 4-0 sweep in their NBA playoff series. The 55-point blowout marks one of the most lopsided victories in playoff history and seals the largest total point differential ever recorded in a four-game sweep—122 points—surpassing the previous record of 121 set by Denver against New Orleans in 2009.

The game, played late Monday night U.S. time (early Tuesday morning in Bulgaria), saw Donovan Mitchell lead the way with 22 points. De’Andre Hunter added 19, while Ty Jerome and Evan Mobley chipped in 18 and 17 respectively. Jarrett Allen finished with a double-double of 14 points and 12 rebounds, also contributing six steals as the Cavaliers led by as many as 60 points during the game.

Cleveland’s 55-point victory ranks as the fourth-largest margin in NBA playoff history. Only three games have ended with a bigger difference: 58 points by Minneapolis over St. Louis in 1956, 58 by Denver over New Orleans in 2009, and 56 by the Lakers over the Warriors in 1973.
