The Oklahoma City Thunder celebrated its triumph in the National Basketball Association (NBA) in style with a championship parade.
The best team in the West in the regular season rejoiced with its first league title after defeating the Indiana Pacers in seven games.
The celebrations were naturally led by the star of the OKC, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who this season became the MVP in both the regular season and the Finals. He also added the award for Best Scorer. The Canadian was shirtless and went to the fences with the "Larry O'Brien" trophy so that the team's fans could touch the cup.
Interestingly, Oklahoma City Mayor David Holt announced that Wednesday, July 30, will be Shay Gilgeous-Alexander Day in the city.
Despite the high temperatures, the Thunder fans could not be stopped from celebrating the cup with their favorites, who, given the youth of the squad, are among the top contenders for another triumph next season. | BGNES
