The United States will continue to cooperate with Ukraine in supplying it with weapons and ammunition, including Patriot systems, US President Donald Trump said in response to a reporter's question.
"They will need them (Patriots) for defense. I don't want to see people getting killed... They will need something because they are being hit pretty hard... Yes, we could look into it," Trump stressed, answering a question about whether the US would supply Ukraine with additional systems.
He noted that he had discussed this topic in a phone conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on July 4. "We have been helping them and we will continue to help them. The situation is very difficult. We will see what happens next," Trump said. He also recalled that he was extremely dissatisfied with the phone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin. "It seems like he wants to go all the way and just kill people. I'm not happy with that," Trump said. | BGNES
