The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina issued a statement regarding the incursion of Russian drones into Polish territory and strongly condemned the act, reported Sarajevo Times.
The press release emphasized that this represents a gross violation of Poland’s sovereignty.
“These actions are a serious violation of international law, the sovereignty and territorial integrity of a NATO and EU member state. Such provocations undermine regional peace and stability. Bosnia and Herzegovina stands fully in solidarity with Poland and our European partners,” the ministry declared.
According to the latest information from Poland, a total of 19 drones entered the country’s airspace.
Although U.S. President Donald Trump stated that it is possible this was a mistake, Poland is convinced the incident was intentional.
“And we would like the drone attack against Poland to have been a mistake. But it wasn’t. We know that,” said Prime Minister Donald Tusk. | BGNES
