Lando Norris with McLaren will start tomorrow's race for the Austrian Grand Prix from pole position.
Norris, who was invariably first in the last two free practice sessions, blew away the competition in qualifying. For him, this is the third pole position since the beginning of the season, as in the previous two occasions - Australia and Monaco, he invariably came to triumph. Charles Leclerc with Ferrari came in second place, and Norris's McLaren teammate Oscar Piastri was third. Lewis Hamilton, on the other hand, set the fourth fastest time and gave the Scuderia fans hope for a strong race in Spielberg.
At the end of qualifying, a yellow flag appeared, which affected several drivers, including four-time world champion Max Verstappen, who finished only seventh. The top ten also includes George Russell (Mercedes), Liam Lawson (Racing Bulls), Gabriel Bortoleto (Kick Sauber), Kimi Antonelli (Mercedes) and Pierre Gasly (Alpine).
