Singer Demi Lovato married Jordan Lutes in a romantic ceremony in California.
The 32-year-old pop star tied the knot with her partner on May 25. She wore a custom-made dress by Vivienne Westwood for the ceremony, then changed into a second dress for the glamorous reception.
"I've been a fan of Vivienne Westwood's designs for a long time. When I was thinking about [what style of dress I wanted], I kept coming back to Vivienne's designs — specifically how the silhouettes really complement the curves of the body and how she uses corsets. We were not only able to draw on that [initial] inspiration, but we also added touches that really make this dress so special to me. I love everything about the dress," Demi told Vogue magazine.
After wearing a silk off-the-shoulder gown to the altar, Lovato changed into another dress — an ivory silk satin gown covered in pearls — for the reception.
“There was so much attention to detail in the embellishment of the reception dress. The pearl details and draping are such a special element, and every thread was draped and attached by hand, one by one. It's a one-of-a-kind element that makes me feel so special,” she said of her second dress.
The couple's wedding was followed by an intimate rehearsal dinner on the evening of May 24 with their closest friends and family.
The big day arrived after Demi expressed her excitement about the wedding in an Instagram post on Valentine's Day dedicated to Jordan.
"Jordan, I can't wait to marry you!! The last three years have been the best three years of my life and I have you to thank for that. I am obsessed with your heart, your love, and your light. I can't wait to grow old with you and start a family together. Happy Valentine's Day to the love of my life. I love you, baby!!!" the singer wrote.
The couple is believed to have been dating since 2022 and got engaged in 2023 when Jordan proposed to her in Los Angeles shortly before Christmas.
"You know, I've been waiting for this my whole life. It's very comforting to have a partner who is so supportive, so loving, so caring. It's very easy to stay focused with him because I love him so much and he treats me so incredibly well," she told PEOPLE earlier. | BGNES
