Scandalous rapper Sean Combs, also known as P. Diddy, is believed to have offered a large reward for the murder of his colleague Tupac Shakur. This was reported by USA Today, citing statements by Duane Davis, Shakur’s alleged killer.
The outlet reported that in September 1996, following a fight between members of two California gangs in Las Vegas, Shakur struck his rival Orlando Anderson. Anderson recounted the incident to his uncle, Duane Davis, who wanted to help his nephew take revenge. However, a police report reviewed by the article’s authors contained information that Davis had another motive for pursuing the rapper, namely a $1 million bounty. Tupac Shakur was shot just hours after the incident. He died a few days later, on September 13, 1996. “Davis was charged with Shakur’s murder in 2023. The claim that Combs ordered the murders of Shakur and Knight was highlighted in a lawsuit filed by Davis’s attorneys later that year, around the same time that federal investigators brought charges against Combs for a number of unrelated crimes,” the report stated.
Documents filed as part of a series of lawsuits against P. Diddy included two other claims of his involvement in Shakur’s death, stating that “he boasted that he had ordered the killing and that he may have paid for the rental Cadillac used in the drive-by shooting.”
The 55-year-old Combs has not been charged in connection with Shakur’s death and has repeatedly denied any involvement.
The well-known American rapper and producer Sean Combs, or P. Diddy, faced justice on charges of violence and human trafficking. The rapper admitted that many famous stars attended his parties and stayed silent about the sexual abuse he committed. The case involves musicians, actors, and other celebrities. In February 2025, Combs’s attorney refused to continue representing the suspect in court and officially withdrew from the case, without disclosing the reasons for his decision. At the beginning of July, the jury convicted Sean Combs. He was found guilty on two counts of transporting people for the purpose of involving them in prostitution. At the same time, P. Diddy avoided the most serious charges — human trafficking for sexual purposes and creating a criminal organization. | BGNES
