The idea of ​​a price ceiling for basic food products has not yet been discussed with the partners in the ruling coalition in Bulgaria.

According to Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov, direct state intervention in the market for basic consumer goods is unacceptable, but there are control mechanisms available to regulatory authorities.
