Alexander Vezenkov led Olympiacos to its first win in the Euroleague playoffs. The winger was a key contributor to his team's 84:72 home win over Real Madrid in the quarter-final series of the strongest club competition on the Old Continent.

The Bulgarian showed who should have been chosen as the most valuable player in the regular season and finished with 23 points, 7 rebounds and 3 steals in 27 minutes on the court. In his shooting, the winger was 5/7 from mid-range, 3/4 from the three-pointer and 4/6 from the free throw line.

However, Kendrick Nunn was preferred instead of Vezenkov in the MVP voting. However, the American did not impress in the champion Panathinaikos' 87:83 hard-fought victory over Anadolu Efes.

Against Real Sasha, who was awarded the No. 1 spot in the match, and company imposed their rhythm in the first half, which they won 47:29. After the break, despite the guests' efforts to get closer, Olympiacos did not allow a reversal and won.
