Giannis Antetokounmpo led the Greek national basketball team to the EuroBasket semifinals with a 87:76 win over Lithuania. The Milwaukee Bucks star scored 29 points in Riga, while his younger brother Kostas blocked four shots in the victory.

Antetokounmpo made two shots from the free throw line to give Greece a 10-point lead with 19 seconds left after Lithuania halved a 16-point deficit in the final quarter. He made two more free throws 47 seconds before the buzzer.

Greece is a two-time EuroBasket champion, having won in 1987 and 2005. Turkey previously beat Poland 91:77, setting up a Balkan derby in the penultimate round.

Finland faces Georgia, while world champion Germany plays Slovenia later today in the other quarterfinals. | BGNES
