Germany is the last semi-finalist in this year's EuroBasket 2025. The world champions defeated Slovenia with Luka Doncic in the lineup 99:91 in Riga and will face the tournament's pleasant surprise Finland.

In the Latvian capital, the Germans were trailing by 13 points at one point by the Slovenians, but a strong final quarter, won 29:17, ultimately sent them into the last four.

Franz Wagner topped the winners with 23 points. The Orlando Magic basketball player scored a key basket from mid-range and won a defensive rebound late in the game to end Slovenia's hopes. Dennis Schroder finished with 20 points, and Daniel Theis, Maodo Lo and Andreas Obst also crossed the double-digit mark for the Germans.

For the Slovenians, Dončić once again gave his all, finishing with a double-double - 39 points and 10 rebounds, adding 7 assists. It is curious that earlier in the tournament the LA Lakers star scored the same number of points against France, but his team was again on the losing side.
