Juventus started their participation in the Club World Cup in the USA, which is being held for the first time in a new format of 32 teams, with a resounding victory. The "Old Lady" overcame Al Ain 5:0 in their opening match in Group G of the competition.
Igor Tudor's team did their job in the first half, when they scored four unanswered goals. Randal Kolo Muani had two of them, and the others were scored by Francisco Conceicao and Kenan Yildiz. After the break, Conceicao was again on target for the final 5:0.
Thus, Juve responded to Manchester City, who earlier also won their match with the Moroccan Wydad Casablanca, but with only 2:0 after goals from Phil Foden and Jeremy Doku.
In the next group matches, Juventus face Wydad, while City and Guardiola are up against Al Ain, the most successful team in the UAE.
In a Group H match, Mexican side Pachuca lost 1:2 to RB Salzburg. | BGNES
