Matei Kaziyski officially returns to Bulgaria

Matei Kaziyski has signed a contract with the Bulgarian vice-champion Lokomotiv Avia (Plovdiv), the volleyball club announced.

Until now, the volleyball player was training with the Italian Trento, but his contract with Lokomotiv is now a fact.

"Today we officially signed a contract with Matei Kaziyski. Our goal is to fight for the first places on all fronts. After all, this is sport and nothing is 100 percent certain," said the club's general manager Lyudmil Naydenov.

"Our relations have been very good in recent years. I am extremely pleased that I can finally play in Bulgaria. We talked all summer and the contract is a fact. I have not played in front of a Bulgarian audience for many years and this was one of the main reasons for accepting," said Matei Kaziyski himself.

"I am extremely happy with this signing. I want to say that the Lokomotiv audience is phenomenal. The goal is to become champions with convincing play. This contract is just a formality, because from the day we shook hands, nothing has changed. Matej will play for Lokomotiv until he receives an offer that interests him," said the club's president Ivaylo Konstantinov.
