World No. 1 Yannick Sinner defeated Alexander Bublik 6-1, 6-1, 6-1 in just one hour and 21 minutes in the round of 16 at the US Open.

With just three games lost, Sinner equaled his most convincing victory at a Grand Slam tournament.

Up until that point, Bublik had not lost a service game in his three matches at the US Open. However, Sinner proved to be a challenge of a completely different scale.

The world No. 1 broke his Kazakh opponent's serve eight times. The match lasted just one hour and 21 minutes, making it the second shortest of the tournament.

In the quarterfinals of the tournament, Sinner will face his compatriot, world No. 10 Lorenzo Musetti, who eliminated Jaume Munard 6-3, 6-0, 6-1. So far, the two Italians have faced each other twice, with Sinner prevailing in both cases. | BGNES
