Florence Pugh insisted on jumping off the world's second tallest building in Marvel’s new movie

As for the stunt itself, Pugh said she approached it quite "fearlessly".

Florence Pugh wasn't going to let a movie producer stop her from jumping off the second-tallest building in the world for a stunt.
Pugh performed the daring feat during the filming of Marvel's upcoming movie Thunderbolts, but only after she managed to convince producers to let her do it after they claimed it would be too big of an "insane insurance ordeal".
Initially, she said, they were going to exclude the stunt from the script, which envisions Pugh's character Yelena Belova, aka the Black Widow, jumping from the Merdeka 118 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, CNN reports.
"I was like, 'What the f*ck? Of course we're going to do it - we have to do it!" said Pugh.
"So I was cheeky 'Karen' , I just sent an email to Kevin (Feige, president of Marvel Studios) saying, 'Kevin, this will do wonders for the press tour, we have to do it!
Pugh said she "just had to keep pushing" to Feige and the producers to let her take on the challenge, and that they eventually agreed, telling her:
"OK, if you want to fall off the second tallest building in the world, we'll figure out a way to make it happen, especially for you."
As for the stunt itself, Pugh pointed out that she approached it quite fearlessly.
"I don't mind heights, I quite like them. I enjoy them, but that was a whole other game that was insane," she said.
"The mental control that I had to exert that day was kind of my own superpower," the actress added.
"Thunderbolts" stars Pugh, David Harbour, Lewis Pullman, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Sebastian Stan, among others.
The film follows a group of antiheroes who embark on a dangerous mission in the Marvel Cinematic Universe that forces them to confront their pasts.
Pugh previously played Belova in the 2021 film Black Widow and the Disney+ miniseries Hawkeye. She will also appear in the upcoming Avengers: in 2026.
Thunderbolts will premiere in theaters on May 2. | BGNES
