One Bulgarian died and seven others were injured after a minibus collided with a truck on the motorway near the northwestern Austrian city of Wels. The accident occurred on May 26, Kleine Zeitung reported.
The injured were taken to nearby hospitals. According to police information, the deceased was a 53-year-old man. All of the injured are from Bulgaria.
Traffic congestion began on the A25 motorway at around 7:30 a.m. (local time). The truck driver, a 47-year-old man from the Innviertel region, had already stopped the vehicle and turned on his hazard lights. The driver of the minibus traveling behind him probably did not notice this and crashed into the truck.
