Israel strikes Iran's Bushehr nuclear power plant and other nuclear sites

The Israeli army (IDF) has struck Iranian nuclear sites in Bushehr, Isfahan, and Natanz. Israeli forces continue to target additional facilities. Bushehr is Iran's only operating nuclear power plant, located on the Persian Gulf coast, Arab News reported.

The seventh day of Israeli airstrikes on Iran came a day after Iran's supreme leader Ali Khamenei rejected US calls for surrender and warned that any military involvement by the Americans would cause them "irreparable damage."

A Washington-based Iranian human rights group said at least 639 people had been killed in Iran, including 263 civilians, and more than 1,300 wounded. In response, Iran fired about 400 missiles and hundreds of drones, killing at least 24 people in Israel and wounding hundreds. Some of them hit residential buildings in central Israel, causing severe damage. | BGNES
