The Ukrainian air force said in a statement that 460 of those drones were intercepted or neutralized, as were 19 of the 20 missiles fired by Russia.
"Strikes were registered at 10 locations," it added, without giving further details.
On June 1, Ukraine reported that 472 drones had been targeted overnight, a record number until then, according to the air force told AFP.
This new series of Russian drone strikes comes at a time when Kiev and Moscow are due to exchange prisoners and the bodies of soldiers killed by both sides in the conflict.
The swap was supposed to take place over the weekend, but according to the head of Ukrainian military intelligence, Kirill Budanov, it should finally take place this week. | BGNES
