Barcelona won 3-1 in their first test during the summer training camp, which takes the form of an Asian tour. The Catalans defeated Japanese side Vissel Kobe 3-1 away, and several debutants were among the founders of the success.
Lamine Yamal played for the first time with the number 10 on his back and as a starter, while Marcus Rashford, Joan Garcia, Rooney Barji and Pedro Fernandez all made strong debuts, with the latter two even scoring.
The European giants took the lead in the 33rd minute when Fermin Lopez crossed and Eric Garcia scored from close range after chaos in the penalty area. Nine minutes later, the hosts took advantage of a blunder by Pau Kubarsi and Taisei Miyashiro scored after Joan Garcia made an initial save.
In the 77th minute, Marcus Rashford showed enviable football intelligence and brought on Robert Lewandowski. The Pole managed to find Rooney Barji, who with one touch sent the ball into the bottom left corner for 2:1. A minute later, the Englishman was replaced by 17-year-old Pedro Fernandez. Another debutant in the 87th minute volleyed the final 3:1.
