Two red cards didn't stop Bayer Lezerkusen from their first win of the season

Bayer Leverkusen scored their first win of the season after beating Eintracht Frankfurt 3-1 at home in the third round of the Bundesliga. The success was also a debut for the team's new coach Kasper Hühlmand. 

"The Aspirins took the lead in the 10th minute through Alejandro Grimaldo from a direct free kick. In added time of the first half, Patrick Schick doubled the lead from the penalty spot. 

In the 52nd minute, Gian Uzun reduced the deficit. Six minutes later, Robert Andrich received a second yellow card and was sent off. 

In the second minute of extra time, the hosts were down to two men after Eki Fernandez also received a second official caution. 

At the very end of the match, Grimaldo scored his second goal of the game, again from a direct free kick, to set up the final score. 

Bayer collected 4 points and occupies 7th place in the provisional standings, while Eintracht is second with six. | BGNES
